In 2020, I published my first book “Superficiality” an anthology of 10 short stories. I thoroughly enjoyed writing the book and stand by each story proudly.

They aren’t just short stories, I lived in my character’s lives, did a lot of research and spend a lot of time with people resembling the characters to write something truly real of the human condition. I firmly believe that to be a writer, is to first hone your thinking. The thinking and understanding are everything. Then comes the writing and hopefully I’ve worked on my craft enough to write with some flair and poetry.

As Superficiality was published during the pandemic, I did not get a proper book launch or a prolonged shelf space of a bookstore. Instead, I had a fun online book launch in my house and I did do decent sales for a Malaysian fiction by an unknown teehee.
